Born in St. Croix and raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.Wais P(pronounced Wise P) has established his own lane of pimp infused east coast lyricism dubbed “pimp-hop". Wais’s history dates back to appearing on Jay-Z’s Hard Knock Life album as a teen and securing a record contract with Def Jam. To date Wais has collaborated with DJ Premier, Snoop Dogg, Statik Selektah & countless others.
